Nuotta is the oldest Christian youth magazine in Finland. It has done its share as a channel for the gospel since 1979 and continues to employ its vivid approach for reaching youth from 15 to 23 year-olds with life's most important questions.
Nuotta is built around themes related to Christian faith and values, confirmation camp, relationships, gospel music and environmental issues. Nuotta provides a package of topical issues straight from young Christians' lives 11 times a year.
Nuotta is published by the Lutheran Evangelical Association in Finland (LEAF), Finnish Lutheran Mission (FLM) and Evangelic-Lutheran Student Mission (OPKO).
Involved in media missions
Nuotta deviates from the mainstream media by discussing Christian values and going deeper than the surface level, into the most important questions in life. The magazine encourages young believers and meets their need to learn about the grace of God and to grow as Christians.
Nuotta has approximately 3200 subscribers and, in addition to them, it reaches youth through issues dealt out in Christian events. The Christian message is spread by Nuotta also outside the Finnish boarders, through the Pluss magazine, an Estonian translation.
