International media team in Ryttylä

We have a pleasure to announce that we have started an international Nuotta-Pluss-Vybor Team, which will funtion as a part of the Youth Ministry Team in the Kansanlähetysopisto in Ryttylä. This team is made up of four people coming from three different countries, Estonia, Russia and Finland. The team works to produce Media to Nuotta, to learn tha basics of youth ministry and deepen their knowledge of the Bible.

 

During this year the Nuotta Team will create media products for Nuotta, Pluss and Vybor Magazines, websites as well as video material for different projects for Nuotta. The members of the Nuotta Team, Sirli (Estonia), Masha (Russia), Olga (Russia) and Sakari (Finland) will also participate in organizing different events of the Youth Ministry Team and take part in some of the lessons of the Bible Team.

I, Sakari Heinonen, am the Finnish member of the team. I was born to missionary parents and Christianity and cultural differences are known to me from an early age. Around 18 months ago I felt that God called me to Christian media work. I prayed a lot about it while I was working in England. In the summer I decided to go to a Bible School and thus give God the time to prepare me. In summer 2011, after the year in Bible Team in Ryttylä, I was told about the possibility to become a member of the Nuotta Team and I ended up here.

We pray that the work we do here from Ryttylä can reach young people to Jesus and encourage young believers all over the world.
